The cable gun lock is a firearm safety device consisting of a 1.182” polymer lock body and a 15” steel wire cable. Each unit includes two keys, a printed instruction sheet, professionally printed accordion-folded safety literature, and a QR code sticker linking users to gun safety information online. The QR code directs to educational material based on Johns Hopkins safety standards. The product is compliant with ASTM standard F2369-04 (2019 or most current revision), and meets the firearm safety device requirements of the California Department of Justice, Massachusetts State Police, and Maryland Roster Board. Each cable lock is individually sealed in clear polyolefin film and assembled using a heat-sealed L-bar sealer. Each case contains a total of 50 locks (UOI = 1 case).
