This is a full breakaway vest. If the vest should become snagged, it will break away leaving the wearer unharmed. Ideal for fire/police or other departments. Fire retardant treated. NYS DOT approved for use where the zipper vests can't be used.
These garments are Non-FR. They are treated for flame resistance under ASTM D6413. They do not meet ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 SECTION 10.5 requirements, they should not be used for fire protection in situations such as arc welding, electrical work, for protection against flame hazards, firefighting, or flash fire.
